its been a while since i've speant quality time with myself...how therapeutic it can be...after slogging for 12days, nothing beats waking up early in the morning and have a walk by myself (through orchard rd with my big haversack, havainas cargo shorts and black tee, i look like a backpacker hur hur k more like a wannabe) ...i love to spend time alone...away from work and away from people that i meet everyday...not that i'm complaining or being anti-social...but its nice to be alone by oneself once in a while...
finally i'm done with "five people you meet in heaven by mitch albom"...the first book which i'm finally done with for this year...and i also found out that they made the movie out of the book, hopefully i can find it in singapore...an inspirational book about a guy name eddie a war veteran who died at the age of 83yrs old while trying to save a girl from getting killed...den the story bring us to five different people whom eddie met in heaven...which this five different people, there are five different stories and lessons to be learnt...fairness (first person - blue man), sacrifice (second person - his captain during war), forgiveness (third person - ruby, owner of the old ruby pier), love (fourth person - his wife, maguerite) and there's a reason for every existence ( last person - tala, the gal who died in the fire during war)...i shall end my blog with a quote at the last page of the book,"that each affects the other and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one."...next stop ps. i love you (i know its a chick book :P)...
